Short Bio

Please view my detailed resume here.

I am a computer science and engineering graduate from Vidyavardhaka College of Engineering (VVCE), affiliated with Visveswaraya Technological University (VTU), who is interested in user experience research and design for consumer software products.

I studied CSE as an undergraduate because I have always been interested in coding applications. I love tinkering with web technologies, and as a teenager, I aspired to make a career as a front-end engineer. But along the journey, the four years opened many opportunities that shaped my decision to pursue UX design as a career.

It started with my participation in the University Innovation Fellows program from the Hasso Plattner Institute of Design, Stanford University, where I learned design thinking in the context of innovating higher education experiences for students. I was captivated by the human-centered design process of solving problems. Two years later, I worked as a User Interface Engineer intern with Brane Enterprises, developing mobile interfaces for a PAAS product - "nslhub," with flutter. During this time, I worked with UX designers and learned how they shaped products from a user's perspective. My journey to UX design has its foundations in recognizing the importance of design and research for problem-solving.

My exposure to computer science education and design thinking excite me for the opportunities at the intersectionality of technology, design, and people. HCI education and UX design as a profession would allow me to explore this intersectionality in depth, where I envision creating an impact that would hopefully change how humans interact with technology for the betterment.
